How do I know if the RC16 replacement cell is compatible?
The RC16 replacement cell is designed for verified compatibility with supported chlorination systems.

Will the RC16 fit exactly like the original cell?
Yes. The RC16 is designed to provide reliable dimensional and connector compatibility with supported systems.
Why is RC16 rated at 16 g/h chlorine output?
The official specification is 16 g/h chlorine output. Actual performance may vary depending on operating conditions, water chemistry and salinity.
Can I install the replacement cell myself?
Yes. Installation is generally straightforward for technically experienced users. Always disconnect power before installation and follow manufacturer recommendations.
Can I touch the coated metal plate area?
No. We recommend avoiding direct contact with the coated plate surfaces as the coating is important for long-term performance.

Is there a warranty on replacement cells?
Yes.
All BlueWaterCell products are covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of delivery.
The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects under normal operating conditions.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect installation
- Improper maintenance
- Improper water chemistry
- Incorrect salinity levels
- Improper pH balance
- Calcium build-up or scaling
- Chemical damage
- Improper cleaning methods
- Electrical faults or voltage instability
- Compatibility issues resulting from incorrect product selection
- Damage caused by faulty chlorinator systems or third-party equipment
- Improper handling, misuse or unauthorized modifications
